TCORS Capitol Group, LLC (TCG) celebrates our clients’ updates and achievements with a roundup of some recent client news! Here is a sampling of some of the exciting things happening within the TCG network of distinguished clients. 


Children’s Center of Hamden 

The Children’s Center of Hamden celebrates 190 years this May! Sign up to participate in the festivities or become a sponsor here.

“The Children’s Center of Hamden is a behavioral health organization dedicated to helping individuals of all cultural backgrounds achieve their highest level of functioning through quality treatment, education and care.” Founded in 1833, Children’s Center of Hamden has served the community for over 186 years, currently providing outreach and support to approximately 150 children and teens each day. 

GoNetspeed

GoNetspeed continues to expand its lightning-speed, cutting-edge fiber internet service to more towns in CT. They most recently completed construction in Vernon, Rockville, and South Windsor.

Lime Rock Park 

CT’s Lime Rock Park, one of the nation’s oldest continuously operating racetracks, commemorated Black History Month last month by publishing an article on landmark racecar driver Charlie Downes: “Back in the early 1980s, IMSA instituted a one-make division for street legal cars that would set the scene for future competition including the IMSA Firestone Firehawk, SCCA World Challenge and a number of one-marque series.Mr. Downes was one of the drivers attracted to the Renault-backed series that ran at Lime Rock Park and other top circuits. A victory at Lime Rock Park was key to him winning the Renault Facom Cup East Coast championship in 1984 – becoming the first Black driver to win a championship in an American-based series.”

MultiDimensional Family Therapy (MDFT)

MDFT just published their annual review for 2022. “Check out our annual report to see all the amazing work that our 73 licensed programs in the U.S. did and the excellent outcomes they achieved. We also highlight the new Refresher series and a brand new research project we are working on with the CT Department of Children and Families (DCF) and Chestnut Health Systems.”

“MDFT transforms lives through family-centered treatment for youth struggling with mental health and other challenges. It gives parents hope and tangible help and enables youth to create a positive lifestyle. MDFT has more than 30 years of rigorous research that proves its efficacy, and the widespread adoption of MDFT demonstrates its feasibility. Today, clinicians implement and sustain MDFT programs in over 150 public and private settings throughout the U.S. and Europe. In addition to its strong research outcomes, MDFT is embraced by youth, parents, therapists, and community collaborators.”

Norwich Free Academy 

Norwich Free Academy’s Slater Museum recently received its first visit from Gov. Ned Lamont, who remarked on the extraordinariness of the museum’s collection of rare replicas. The Slater Museum is one of one two museums located in a high school in the nation. 

Incorporated in 1854, The Norwich Free Academy is a coeducational, privately governed, endowed, regional independent school that serves as the primary high school for 8 Connecticut towns. 

Quest Diagnostics

Quest Diagnostics, the world's leading provider of diagnostic information services, has continued its support of underserved communities, with recent events in Chicago and Dallas

In Dallas, Quest, “through the Quest for Health Equity (Q4HE) initiative, supported the medical services team by providing clinical laboratory tests at no cost for event attendees, including well-woman screenings. More than 500 local community members received healthcare services; approximately 140 persons received lab testing at no cost. These healthcare screenings and services will help provide insights on personal health strengths and risks to support those community members in taking more control of their health.”

Quest also just announced that its Board of Directors has elected James E. Davis, the company's Chief Executive Officer and President, to serve in the additional position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.

US Biologic

US Biologic continues to innovate, announcing in November that it is developing a chewable flu vaccine, which “has the potential to help limit a potentially deadly disease in the U.S. and globally." In addition, the new vaccine may increase vaccine equity and reduce the need for needles. 

US Biologic develops ground-breaking orally delivered vaccines, changing global disease prevention, and allowing safe, effective, and cost-efficient delivery of preventative intervention to wildlife and humans. 


TANGO: TCG Partner Update

TCG is pleased to be a partner with the Alliance for Nonprofit Growth and Opportunity (TANGO), which helps nonprofits to thrive through education, preferred services, and mission support. TANGO recently surpassed 1,500 member organizations, which they will celebrate with the TANGOfest in May, an evening of cocktails, dinner, live music, and guest speakers on May 17th. The event will take place after the annual TANGO Foundation Golf Tournament. Register here.
