Association Executive

Chip Marsh brings more than 30 years’ experience providing all aspects of leadership and management services to associations, chambers of commerce, and nonprofits. He combines his professional background with his own volunteer involvement to develop positive relationships with association leaders that inspire working together to achieve organizational goals.

Chip is known as a collaborative partner who delivers mission-based programs and events that engage members, provide value, and increase revenue. He is skilled in leadership development, committee management, strategic planning, membership development, resource management, event planning, governance, and communications. He is a frequent presenter and has extensive experience as a group facilitator.

Chip earned his BBA from The University of Georgia and also graduated from the Institutes for Organization Management, a master’s level professional development program. He is a past president of the Connecticut Society of Association Executives, an active Rotarian on the club and district levels, and has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as Secretary of the Branford Rotary Foundation, Director of Branford Community Television, and on the Advisory Board of the Branford Microfund, Inc.

Chip enjoys cycling, golf, live theater, and travel. He lives in Branford with his wife, Susanne, and their 3-year old labradoodle, Duncan.
